Searching your email archive
Every message, subject, sender, recipient, and attachment name in your archive is indexed for full-text search the moment upload processing finishes.
Free-text search
Open Emails in the sidebar and type into the search bar at the top. Evermail searches across subjects, message bodies, sender names and addresses, recipients, and attachment file names at once — there's no special syntax to learn. Press Enter or click Search to run the query.
Filters
Click the filter icons next to the search bar to add one or more filter chips. Filters combine with your text search and with each other.
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Date | Restrict results to a date range |
| From | Match a sender name or address |
| To | Match a recipient name or address |
| Subject contains | Match text in the subject line |
| Archive | Limit to one uploaded mailbox, if you have more than one |
| Has attachment | Only show emails with an attachment |
Saved searches
Once you've built a query and filter combination you'll want again, save it from the search bar and it appears as a quick-access chip above your results. The Free plan includes 3 saved searches, Starter includes 10, and Pro, Team, and Enterprise include unlimited saved searches.
